Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) are essential values that we embrace at the Children’s Advocacy Center. We recognize that our work is rooted in justice and that we have a responsibility to serve all children and families in our community with compassion, respect, and empathy.

We are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for every child who walks through our doors, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ability, or socio-economic background. We understand that the needs of each child are unique and that we must be responsive to their individual circumstances and experiences.

We strive to ensure that our staff, volunteers, and board of directors reflect the diversity of the communities we serve. We actively seek out opportunities to learn about and address the systemic issues that perpetuate disparities and injustices in our society.

We believe that everyone has a role to play in creating a more equitable and just world. We are committed to working collaboratively with community partners and stakeholders to address the root causes of child abuse and neglect and to promote healing, resilience, and well-being for all children and families.

In all that we do, we are guided by our values of accountability, integrity, empathy, and respect. We will continue to listen to and learn from the children and families we serve and to adapt our approach to meet their evolving needs. We are committed to creating a world where every child can grow up safe, healthy, and happy, free from abuse and neglect.
