Holly Jolly is the Children’s Advocacy Center’s favorite time of year. Through the Thanksgiving and Christmas season, we partner with the community to provide holiday meals, winter clothing essentials, pantry staples, and Christmas gifts to the children we serve.

Our goal is to help children and families who are recovering from abuse and trauma have an enjoyable holiday season, and build precious memories together. Helping kids feel like kids again is central to the work of the Children’s Advocacy Center, and a joyful holiday season plays a big role in making that possible. We hope you’ll join us!

There are so many ways to help make holiday wishes come true this year for children in our community! From contributing to our gift and food drives, to hosting your own, or making a cash or gift card donation, or volunteering your time for gift wrapping and Santa Sack stuffing, it goes a long way and brings joy and happiness to children and families right here in our community.

  • Thanksgiving Meals

Family Thanksgiving Meals include a turkey or a ham, 3-4 shelf-stable side dishes, bread, and a frozen pie. We're also collecting pantry staples for meal preparation, such as foil pans, vegetable oil, eggs, milk, and butter. If you prefer to make a cash donation, our dedicated CAC staff can shop on your behalf!

  • It's In The Bag!

Donate winter clothing essentials to the children we serve! We’re preparing 225 Santa Sacks to give away, stuffed with a new coat, a winter hat, socks, underwear, gloves, a hoodie, and a blanket! We can also shop for you if you’d rather make a cash donation. We’ll also assist your team if you’d like to throw a private drive for individual Santa Sack components!

  • Holly Jolly Family Sponsorship

    Holly Jolly Family Sponsorship

The Children’s Advocacy Center can match you, your business, group or organization with the children we serve who are in recovery from abuse and trauma. Your sponsorship can include Christmas presents, holiday meals, or pantry staples for the holiday break, or a combination of all three.

  • Holiday Break Pantry Staples

To help our families manage the long holiday break, we’re helping to stock their pantries with the following: shelf-stable and ready-to-make meals like soups, pasta with sauce, and stews, canned meat; like chicken and tuna, packaged side dishes; like potato dishes, rice dishes, Hamburger Helper, macaroni and cheese/shells and cheese, kid-friendly snacks; like cookies, crackers, granola bars, Pop Tarts, graham crackers, fruit snacks, fruit cups, apple and fruit sauces, variety packs of chips and cereals, peanut butter and jelly, whole boxes of cereal, oatmeal, and drinks, like Gatorade, Capri-Sun and juice boxes.

  • Shop Our Wish List

Take advantage of holiday savings and support the Children’s Advocacy Center at the same time! The CAC has an Amazon Wish List of all items we’re seeking as part of our Holly Jolly Program. Every single donation we receive, no matter the size, counts and goes directly to children in our community. We hope you’ll drop a few things in your cart to support our mission.

  • Volunteer With Us

Our Season of Giving is especially busy, and we’d appreciate a hand! In addition to our regular service provision, we’ll be taking in donations, organizing family packages, stuffing Santa Sacks and wrapping a mountain of gifts. You, your club, civic group, organization, church or friends can help! We’ll have volunteer opportunities all season long. Click the button below to connect with our volunteer team!
